A LETTER TO MY FUTURE HUSBAND

Dear future husband,,

Honestly, I don't know anything about you. The only thing I do know is that I love you and want to spend an eternity with you by my side. That's all I know.

While we're counting the things I don't know, let me just point out that at this moment, there are a whole lot of things that I don't know. And since you know me so well, you know that I hate uncertainty. However, there is a small part of me that embraces this uncertainty while you're away. Because I'm certain that I'd like to wait for you. I'm certain that you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have you forever. So while I'm waiting, I'd like to promise you a few things.

1. I promise to love you forever. Even when I hate you, I'll never stop loving you. And I promise that you'll know that. Without a doubt.

2. I promise that I'll try to be the best person I can possibly be. Because you deserve that. I promise right now that I'll always try to be that person. Because, again, I love you.

3. I promise that I will continually strengthen my relationship with our Heavenly Father so that we can have him in our lives always. With that promise, I promise to regularly attend the temple, and read my scriptures every day, and attend church every week, and strengthen my testimony daily. I promise to do everything that I can to have him in our life. That's the best gift I can possibly think to give you.

I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you. I'm so so happy I get to spend eternity with you.

You're the best thing I could ever ask for.
